Philanthropy

Delta Chi's understand the importance of giving back to the community and participate in many different philanthropic events throughout the Northwestern Campus. Each year we send dancers to dance for 30 hours in Northwestern’s Dance Marathon, the school’s largest and longest running philanthropic event. We also work together with a sorority to raise money for and participate in Relay for Life at Northwestern. Besides philanthropic events run through the Northwestern community, Delta Chi's take it upon themselves to plan their own philanthropic events to raise money for great causes. Every spring, Delta Chi holds various philanthropic events to raise money for our national philanthropy, the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Delta Chi has had numerous events ranging from an Earth Ball competition to date auctions. In addition, Delta Chi's give back to the community through service projects as well. Delta Chi has participated in Project Pumpkin, NCDC Artsfest, and clean up events in the Evanston Community during Greek Week.

Our most recent philanthropy event, Delta Chi Movers, was a huge success. Delta Chi's brothers helped move students out of their residences to raise money for the V Foundation.
